Sweet Spot (image: Ame Nielsen)

Sweet spot refers to an ideal combination of inputs, attributes or processes. Finding the sweet spot results in higher profits, stronger market share and/or maximum efficiency.

For example, a Production Manager updating his boss might say, “We’ve really hit a sweet spot on the production line. We’re producing 15% more than same quarter last year, and have eliminated overtime hours!”
