Words of the Week – brown bag

A brown bag is a meeting or presentation that takes place during the lunch hour. Lunch is not provided by the organizers, but you are encouraged to bring your own meal. Brown bag gets its name from the brown paper bags that elementary school students often use to carry their lunch in the US.
